Wickedly precise and boldly coloured, the Competition Bumper Plates are the perfect training plates for Olympic lifting.
Our custom-designed competition bumper plates don't just look amazing, they also closely align with IWF specs and outperform all-black bumpers. While they're not IWF approved, they do check the key boxes: 450mm diameter, colour-coded, and guaranteed to +/- 0.1% of the claimed weight.
The galvanized centre hub with its co-molded steel collar won't spin or break from the rubber and uses an innovative method to securely lock the bolts in place.
All this mumbo-jumbo to say that the hub is safeguarded against loosening and the competition bumper plates will scuff less over time.
The thing is, they're made in pounds instead of kilograms because, well, #freedomunits.
But don't let that rain on your parade, they still make excellent training plates for Olympic weightlifting.
IMPORTANT: Not IWF approved. Precision-cut 50.5mm centre hole might not fit out-of-spec Olympic barbells.

Got these pretty quickly with calgary home delivery, took less than a week from purchase to receive them initial impressions: they look great and are comparable to eleiko training bumpers in thinness at a fraction of the price My only complaint is there was a minor blemish on the steel hub of one of my 10kg plates, but plates are meant to be used and beaten up, so I’m totally fine with it

UPS lost one of my 25 kg bumpers. Not sure how, but not the fault of BoS. Kaevon was quick to contact me and make it right. I received a replacement asap. This plates are top notched. Sturdy and a bit sharp if you grab them a certain way. Very little bounce when dropped from deadlifts. Top quality and very comparable to other brands. I will be purchasing again and again!

These competition bumpers are similar to others I have used in the past. I think they do what it is expected. The only two suggestions I have are quality control in the factory, given that I had a few that had visible repairs completed on them, but that has been addressed by you already.
The second is the plate design. It would be good to have a bit more of a lip, even if small around the edge, similar to the rogue plates which would make them easier to handle.
