Product Features

  • Burns More Calories

Running on a manual treadmill requires 37% greater oxygen uptake and 22% higher heart rate compared to running on a track or a motorized treadmill at the same velocity. Translation for the non-nerds: earn more burn in less time.

  • Save Money

Have you seen electricity costs lately? They're SHOCKING! But with a manual treadmill, no power is no problem! Too bad you can't hook this up to a generator to power your house — and it's more affordable than the Blitz Magnetic Resistance Manual Treadmill.

  • Compact Design

The 47" x 17.3" running deck and 4-inch wide foot rails are smaller than an average treadmill, making this ideal for small spaces. However, it's more suitable for walking and jogging than running, especially if you're tall.

This smooth, self-powered treadmill offers a modern aesthetic — without the maintenance needs of a motorized treadmill. Torch your calories and posterior chain with an 8.4° curve angle, so you don't have to resort to soul-crushing HIIT workouts on a Blitz Air Bike.

This manual treadmill is self-powered, meaning no electricity and no worrying about plug placement-just tip it onto the wheels and move it around to wherever you want. The compact design offers a streamlined 47" x 17.3" running deck and 4-inch wide foot rails. It's ideal for walking and running, but you might want a Blitz Manual Treadmill if you feel the need for speed, especially if you're tall.

112 ball bearings offer an ultra-smooth glide, and the high-strength nylon slats absorb impact to protect your joints and minimize sound. With a 396lb weight capacity, feel free to throw on a Weight Vest to really feel the burn.

IMPORTANT: The Residential Manual Treadmill's shipping box is large and heavy, so it can only ship by freight. Consider recruiting a friend to help you bring it into your home. Ideal for walking/jogging, not sprinting. Ships partially assembled.

    Perfect treadmill

My husband and I absolutely love this treadmill for its simple functionality, durability and beauty. We love the slight incline of the treadmill floor as it provides a bit more of a challenge. I love to walk on it and my husband runs and walks on it. We ordered the bike mat to go underneath and it works perfectly. We anticipate enjoying this treadmill for many years to come. We highly recommend.

    Wooden Treadmill Review

*Treadmill Review: 8 Days, 61.6km, and Counting!*

I've spent the past 8 days (Dec 01-08) putting my new treadmill through its paces, and these are my initial impressions. With an average daily routine of 7.7km, 1 hour, 649 calories, and 32 minutes in the peak zone, I've gotten to know this machine pretty well.

    *A Notable Upgrade*

Compared to my previous ProForm treadmill, this one is a significant improvement. Engaging HIIT (High-Intensity Interval Training) is quicker and easier, and I no longer worry about blowing the motor when increasing the speed to 14km/h or higher.

    *Build Quality and Performance*

The build quality is decent, although not as sturdy as more expensive models (e.g., the $4000 unit). As expected, the treadmill does shake slightly with every stride. However, this hasn't affected my workout experience.

    *Display and Features*

I haven't focused too much on the display, as a quick glance at time, distance, and calories burned is all I need.

    *Initial Creaks and Squeaks*

On the first day, I noticed a light creaking sound after every stride. I recorded a video of this, but after putting in over 8 hours of use, the noise and squeak have disappeared.

    *Maintenance and Support*

I do need to figure out the proper maintenance routine for this treadmill. I know it's designed to be low-maintenance, but there are areas that require lubrication. I'll need to consult the handbook or reach out to the manufacturer (BoS) for guidance.

    *Conclusion*

    Overall, I'm…

Thanks for the thorough review and the photos, Kumudini! :star-struck: We're delighted to hear that the Wooden Residential Manual Treadmill is helping you rack up those kilometers and crush your fitness goals. It sounds like you've gotten quite the workout in thanks to that reliable speed for your HIIT sessions.

While the treadmill might have a bit of a shimmy, we're glad it still gets the job done! As for the early creaks and squeaks—sounds like they've settled down after a good break-in. And not to worry, our team is here to assist with any maintenance queries you might have. Keep reaching those peak zones!

    Yours in strength,
    The B.o.S. Crew

Wish I could have gotten it sooner...

The delivery of this treadmill was much more substantial than I expected. It arrived in a massive wooden crate that required a crowbar to open, and unboxing took nearly an hour. Fortunately, I have a garage, and the deliveryman was able to move it inside. Once it was dropped off, it wasn’t going anywhere until I had fully unboxed it. On the positive side, the packaging is extremely secure, the wooden crate and protective foam kept the treadmill in perfect condition. Even after unboxing, the machine is still quite heavy, but I managed to move it to my desired spot since I had no stairs to contend with, otherwise, it would definitely require two people.

There are several things I appreciate about this treadmill. Since it doesn’t require electricity, I have the flexibility to move it wherever I want, rather than being limited to spots with an available outlet. I chose not to install the arms so I can easily reposition it under my standing desk or in a corner, depending on my needs. Maintenance is also minimal. With my old electric treadmill, I was surprised by how frequently I had to lubricate the belt every other week, taking about ten minutes each time. With this manual treadmill, I wasn’t sure if lubrication was needed, but after a couple of weeks I heard a sound, added two drops of lubricant on each side, and it worked smoothly again. Plus, they provide a bottle of lubricant with the machine.

The machine does take some getting used to, it's a bit like learning to…

    Desk treadmill

I've done over 1.2 million steps on it so far in about two months and it's just incredible. It feels indestructible and the sound isn't too loud, I'd say a little less noisy than a motorized treadmill but not by much. Really smooth for the knees and little to no impacts on joints even when going full speed. Although it says that it's not made for running at high speeds, I can definitely go at full speed no problem.

Mine is tucked under my standup desk and since it's manual, when doing precision clicking or need to focus on something I can just put my feet on both sides to stand still. It's also more convenient since I can listen to music and walk on beat without the hassle of a remote and trying to sync it.

Now most of the times I use it I just zone out and work and don't even realise I'm walking. I haven't seen a change in my focus. I thought my focus would either be better or worst but after getting used to it it's just like sitting in a chair and focus on work is more of a mind game not related to walking.

Since it's a manual treadmill, in my case I needed to remove the steel bars so it could fit under the desk. I was able to remove them no problem and the treadmill works just fine.

I'm so glad I bought this!

    New Technology

Manual Treadmills have evolved to this curved design. The curved belt is what lets you control the speed; it creates the illusion the treadmill is motorized. All the benefits of motorized treadmill without the failure of electrical and electronic component failure.

I bought this treadmill for walking, rather than running, it is a sturdier design than some of the cheaper manual treadmills.

Too bad the treadmill is made in China, and not Canada.
