It's good but too heavy / almost overbuilt for a cable machine.
The weight makes it awkward to hook on both sides and perform the exercises like bench press or squat.

It’s a good length for use with my 51” wide functional trainer. I wish it weighed a little lighter because 18 pounds with 1 arm while trying to attach to carabiner is kinda hard. It spins, but since it’s metal on metal you may need to add WD-40 to stop loud grinding sound at heavier weights. Finally, the knurling is a little aggressive for me but it’s not painful so it works.
Overall, based on price I would recommend this bar.

This attachment is a great substitute with the all-in-one trainer for a lot of barbell exercises. Probably the first one I'd recommend to buy with the all in one with weight stack.
