If you can afford one one just buy it! Yes, it's ungainly, does one thing only, and I needed to shuffle my garage around to find a space for it but loading is SO much easier than rolling the bar over a 2.5lb plate and screwing around with 45s that don't want to slide under pressure, everything's wiggling, I'm getting mad, etc, etc. The price is right for a solid jack that does the job. Just buy it.

Easy to assemble and sturdy. Makes deadlift plate changing much more comfortable. The sliding rollers are a nice feature to recenter the bar.

It’s a very good jack, solid and great value. Although it’s nice to be able to recenter the bar on the platform, the bar does move unintentionally when sliding plates off
