"With limited area and headroom in the basement, I couldn't find any rack that would work. Luckily I came across this." — Matt, Verified Buyer

The Cable Tower Squat Stands replaces a full commercial cable setup with two independent 210 lb / 95 kg stacks or plate setups, a built-in squat stand, and a pull-up bar, all in one compact footprint.

  • True cable training feel → unlike bulky all-in-one machines, ours delivers smooth, commercial-grade resistance at every angle. That means you can comfortably perform flyes, rows, pulldowns, and full cable flows without twist, bind, or awkward cable paths.
  • Train two exercises at once → with dual independent towers. No sharing, no waiting. Run your own session while your training partner runs theirs.
  • 30+ height settings per side → unlock cable positions you won't find on single-stack systems from ankle to overhead, every position locked in with laser-cut numbers.
  • Save thousands → compared to outfitting a commercial cable setup and a separate rack. One unit covers it all.
  • Free up floor space → two cable towers + a squat stand in a fraction of the footprint you'd expect. One unit to replace your whole home gym power rack and cable machine setup, beginner to advanced.

Why Cable Tower Squat Stands?

  • One footprint. Three functions. → Cable machine, squat stand, and pull-up station. You're not stacking three pieces of equipment, you're buying one.
  • Cables that actually feel commercial-grade. → Smooth pulleys, 33 height positions, a 1:1 ratio option for heavy pulling. This isn't a watered-down home gym version — it's the full experience.
  • Low-ceiling friendly → At 80.75" (205 cm) tall, this fits in spaces where a traditional power rack with a cable attachment wouldn't clear the ceiling.
  • Expandable when you're ready → The 2.3" × 2.3" uprights accept the full library of B.o.S. attachments, so your setup can grow without swapping out the base unit.

Built for home gym lifters who want cable training, barbell work, and pull-ups without filling the room—especially those working with low ceilings or limited square footage who refuse to compromise on how much they can actually train.

Product Details

Your home gym doesn't need another machine taking up half the floor. It needs one piece that does the work of two.

The Cable Tower Squat Stand is TWO independent cable towers connected by a pull-up bar, with J-cups ready to drop in so you're benching or squatting in the same session you're doing face pulls. One unit. Hundreds of exercises. Zero redundancy.

TWO RESISTANCE OPTIONS. ONE STANDARD.

  • Weight Stack (210 LBS / 95 KG per side): Pin-loaded, fast-adjusting, no plate math. The bougie option. Worth every penny.
  • Plate-Loaded: Use the Olympic weight plates you already own, keep costs low, get the same smooth pull.

30+ HEIGHT SETTINGS per side, ankle to overhead and everything in between. A 2:1 pull ratio for controlled, constant-tension work with an included 2-in-1 Cable Adapter that flips it to 1:1 for heavy rows where you want the full stack weight in your hands, not half of it.

Laser-cut height numbers you can actually read. Pop pins that don't fight back. A removable cable ball. These are the details that happen when you actually listen to the people training in their home gyms every day.

80.75" / 205 cm TALL. BUILT FOR REAL BASEMENTS. Low ceilings aren't a dealbreaker; this thing was designed with them in mind. The compact footprint doesn't just save floor space, it saves headroom too. Wall mount, floor mount, or bolt it to an existing rack, it adapts to the space you have, not the space you wish you had. Add optional back uprights for extra front-to-back stability and more attachment real estate without adding a single extra square foot.

RACK ATTACHMENT COMPATIBLE. The uprights are compatible with 2.3" × 2.3" B.o.S. rack attachments: Y-Dip, Seal Row Pad, Landmine, and more. The attachment ecosystem makes the exercise list just about endless. Out of the box it already covers hundreds. The accessories are the cherry on top of a swole sundae.

Rave reviews across the board. Customers keep coming back to three things: the cable smoothness, the space it saves, and the fact that it genuinely replaces a full gym's worth of cable equipment. One reviewer said they can do "90% of my gym workouts at home." Another mounted it directly to their competing power rack instead of the floor. Both are valid life choices. Except the competitor part.

Already own two standalone Cable Towers? Skip buying a new machine. The Functional Trainer Conversion Kit turns what you've got into a full crossover setup.

Deep in the Hydra ecosystem or loyal to another 3" × 3" rack manufacturer? The Oblivyon 3" × 3" Cable Tower Squat Stands are fully compatible with Hydra and Manticore attachments, and play well with most true 3" × 3" third-party uprights too for the traitors out there.

Not sure which cable setup is right for your space and goals? The Cable Tower Buying Guide breaks it all down.

LIMITED LIFETIME frame warranty. 90 day coverage on cables and pulleys. Free shipping in the continental US.

IMPORTANT: Due to their small footprint and tall height, Cable Tower Squat Stands MUST be bolted down or wall-mounted to ensure the user and equipment’s safety. Mounting hardware is not included — we recommend Tapcon+ screws. Ships unassembled.

    Cable tower squat stands

They work perfect for the space I had, and multiple functionality and purpose. When I was installing them, I wish there was a reminder or installation option that mentioned to widen the base of the two towers. Now I need to do it after the fact (for squats with a wider stance, more floor space between the towers). But I love the system!

    Tanks & perfect fit

Just like the commercial gym but better with the 1:1 ratio it’s the true weight and I wanna go heavy I can with ease or if I need lighter weights I have that option, As you can I got creative with my set up instead of bolting to the wall or ground I mounted these to my Titan Power Rack 80 inch which you can also do with bells of steel power racks and many others. I have low ceilings 7ft so this fit well in my basement gym. I can’t wait to attach some jammer arms next so I can replicate gym equipment from commercial gym. Over all 9 out of 10 only because there are no numbers on post I sometimes have to guess but using marker to mark numbers is easy workout and worth compromising.

    Hey Thomas,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

Your setup looks absolutely amazing! It is awesome to hear how you have integrated the cable towers into your setup. Getting that commercial gym feel with the 1:1 ratio at home is a total win, especially with those ceiling height constraints. Your creativity in mounting them to your rack is impressive and shows just how versatile the gear can be. We appreciate the tip about marking the posts; that is a clever workaround to keep your transitions smooth. We are stoked to see those jammer arms added to your gym soon. 😊🙏.

    Yours in strength,

    The B.o.S. Crew.

    Very Versatile

Very happy with this setup in my basement. I have limited space and wanted to maximize the amount of exercises I can do within a minimal footprint. First off, the packaging was fantastic and I was really impressed with the care BoS put in to planning the boxes and protecting the individual pieces.

Watch the assembly video on YouTube because the provided instructions aren't great. I put the base and uprights on and then carefully planned out the placement of the stands so I could still use the pullup bar by making use of the joist space. I was not able to use the supplied mounting brackets, so I bought four 1/2" by 8" lag bolts and mounted the whole thing using the back upright. I was concerned that this setup would be wobbly compared to a proper squat rack, but I tested it by loading up 315lbs and racking/un-racking it several times and this thing feels as solid as the commercial rack at my gym. The uprights are 14ga steel, so I don't think you'd want to repeatedly be dropping heavy loads on the spotter arms; they'd probably catch the weight, but you'd risk damaging the holes. So, this isn't for you if you like doing rack pulls etc. The 43" spacing between uprights is excellent and a bit wider than most all-in-one systems.

The cable machines themselves feel excellent and solid; way smoother than the dated machine I was using at the gym. I bought 4 swivel snap shackles to replace the basic provided carabiners in hopes that it prevents the cable twisting issue these types…

Thanks for the incredible detailed review, Nick! We're stoked to hear that the Cable Tower Squat Stands are maximizing your workout potential in that basement setup — that's exactly what we designed them for. It's awesome that you appreciated the care we put into the packaging too; we know how important it is to get your gear delivered in perfect condition.

It's fantastic that this setup is giving you 90% of your gym workouts at home while saving you space for that standalone leg extension/curl unit. That's what home gym efficiency is all about!

    Yours in strength,
    The B.o.S. Crew.

    Cable tower squat stands

It took longer than expected to clear my garage to make room for this set up and during that time I've watched probably every video on these multiple times. I was beginning to regret going with the plate loaded over the weight stack to save some money, but after getting them up and running and trying them out a bit, I'm really happy with the plate loaded. The videos and online pictures don't do them justice, these are beefy and super solid. I also didn't upgrade the pulleys to the aluminum as I wanted to try it out how it comes first, and I'm glad i waited because this thing is super smooth as is. My only complaint is that they weren't sitting completely flat but i image that's probably more a problem with my floor than these towers. A couple thin pieces of plywood under the feet fixed that for now, although I'd like to find a better looking solution (I'm open to any suggestions). Overall super happy with these and would definitely recommend!

Thanks for the detailed review, David! It's awesome that you're finding the plate-loaded system to be a solid choice - we totally get that initial uncertainty, but it's great to hear it's working out perfectly for you! And yes, these towers are absolute units in person, aren't they? Super stoked that you're loving the smooth action of the standard pulleys too.

About that floor situation - totally get it, garage floors can be tricky! While the plywood solution works great functionally, some folks have had success with heavy-duty rubber shims or leveling feet for a cleaner look. But hey, the main thing is that you've got them rock-solid and ready for action!

    Wouldn't change a thing

I can't say enough good things about this cable rack and bells of steel in general. Perfect for tight spaces and low ceilings. They even sold me discounted surplus parts so I could build myself a high pulley. Setup note: make sure you check that the left and right front towers are rotated so the holes align horizontally.

Thanks a bunch for the incredible feedback, Ryan! 🙌 We're absolutely thrilled to hear that the Cable Tower Squat Stands are working perfectly in your space-conscious setup. Love that you got creative with the high pulley mod too - that's exactly the kind of ingenuity we love to support! And thanks for sharing that super helpful setup tip about the tower alignment - that's going to help fellow lifters for sure.
