Looking to upgrade your Hydra Rack? Or build your own franken-rack? Maybe even upgrade your non-Bells of Steel Rack that's also true 3 x 3 inch with 5/8 inch holes?
Uprights are the vertical bars that connect the crossmembers of your power rack. They're easy to install and come in different lengths and styles to suit your needs and preferences. They add functionality to your rack by allowing you to mount rack attachments like a seal row pad, lever arms, and more.
Unless otherwise indicated, uprights are sold in pairs (2 pieces) and do not include hardware. Get your Hydra Hardware here.
NOTE: If joining to crossmembers, two 24mm wrenches are required to install (not included by default). Correctly sized box-end, adjustable & socket wrenches are suitable alternatives.
NOTE: We cannot ship the 108″ Uprights by UPS (ground); we can only ship them via freight. So if you can’t pick them up, they must be part of an order that weighs over 500 pounds to meet the minimum shipping weight requirement, or we won’t be able to ship them to you.

Works great. Using as a bar rack right now and a bunch of odds and ends. Got 42 and 72. Got shelves from another company and bolt up fine. Had a 2x2 decided to upgrade couldn't be happier

These uprights are great. Very sturdy, no scrapes on them when they arrived. Lots of holes, well-numbered. When putting this together make sure to pay attention to which side of the uprights have the BOS logo. They are only on one side and probably should face the outside of the rack on either side. I have a folding rack and it did take some adjustment of loosening and tightening the bolts on the brackets, and the rack to find the right balance to where the rack would close and look even and the crossbars would sit comfortably in the brackets without too much tension when folded in. The only grip might be that the pull-up bar brackets are so big they take up like 3 holes that could be used for other things but that's a small complaint. This rack is industrial strength. I am very happy with the quality. I plan to add on some pully's very soon.

I purchased the shortest uprights to make a double post weight rack with a variety of spare parts that I had laying around from past racks. I also used a set of the new short feet that Bells of Steel offers for the new plate tree and shortened them down with a chopsaw to create the base. For around $300 of Bells of Steel and Rogue parts (some of which I already owned), I was able to create a custom bumper plate holder that is rock solid, poses no risk of tipping, and is supports a landmine and dips.

Quality 10/10- it's a beast.
Delivery 8/10- some damage to boxes a little scratching on metals but nothing worthy of reporting.
Design 6/10- I ordered blue uprights and cross members. I received purple uprights and black cross members- no big deal but worth mentioning. I emailed this issue which also identified that I received 4 additional Carabiner Band Pegs.
Knee Sleeves are inconsistently sized- one fits the other too small.
