Rack Attached Basketball Hoop w/ Ball

Cool idea and neat item that is cheaper than the competitor's rack attached basketball hoop. The steel backboard make it much nicer than the more expensive other brand's hoop. That being said, the quality and craftsmanship on this item is not great. The net is really cheap and ugly. For $7 I bought a much nicer net and it makes the hoop look a lot more legit.

The hoop itself is horribly crooked and will need to be bent back into shape. Look at the angle of the hoop when the bracket is aligned properly. I expect better quality control than this. The net is cosmetic but the crooked hoop is bad and i hope i dont break it trying to bend it back straight.

The hoop is solid and well made. I am very happy with it. The ball performs, feels, and looks just like a legit basketball. The hoop and spring also move and feel just like the real thing. The bracket fits well on my crossmember and is lined with UHMW. I made a couple of minor tweaks to make it sit more snug including an adapter for the 5/8”bolt to make it fit snug including the 1”, a lock nut under the spring as it works its way off from vibration, and some adhesive rubber furniture feet between the backboard and crossmember to keep the backboard snug. BoS should definitely upgrade the nut under the spring to a lock nut so it doesn’t vibrate off.
